Lashing in hot weather
Doing eyelash extensions in hot weather can be challenging so here are a few tips and tricks we recommend to help the process!
-Make sure you have a hydrometer in your lash room! Every lash tech needs a hydrometer! This shows you the temperature and humidity of your room, it is important that you know the temperature and humidity of the room you are lashing in because you need to make sure it is within the correct range for the lash glue you are using! Every lash glue has a different temperature and humidity range that is works best within so make sure to check in the description of the product on the lash website to make sure your temperature and humidity is correct.
-If the temperature of your lash room is too high, we recommend to purchase an aircon unit. If the temperature is too low, turn on the heating.
-If the humidity is too high, we recommend getting a dehumidifier, if the humidity of your lash room is too low, we recommend getting a humidifier.
-If you don’t have an aircon, it’s a good idea to do your clients earlier in the morning before your lash room heats up.
-If your lash adhesive is drying too fast then we recommend using a slower setting lash adhesive when lashing in hot weather, we recommend Lash Huns So Clingy 1-2 second drying time lash adhesive! Search “so clingy” on this website to shop now!
