Guide to using pre made spikes

Here at Lash Huns we believe it is so important to be able to offer a wide range of lash styles to suit any client! And by grabbing yourself a tray or 2 of our pre made spikes you'll be able to create the most beautiful strip lash looks for your adventurous lash clients that love a more dramatic lash look!

Firstly, we recommend choosing a pre made spike curl that is different to the curl you are using to create the fans in your lash set, this way the spikes will stand out a lot more! Ideally you want to opt for a premade spike curl that is curlier than the fans, so it creates lift and makes the spikes stand out!

For example, if i was using C or CC curl to create my fans, I would use a D curl for the spikes! At Lash Huns we stock C & D curl premade spikes in various lengths! To check these out simply search for "spikes" on this website!

If I use the same curl throughout the whole set, the spikes wouldn't be that noticeable.

Now that you have your premade spikes that are curlier than your fans, we would recommend placing around 5-7 spikes on each eye, evenly spaces out. You need to make sure you are using spikes that are at least 3mm longer than the fans in whichever section you are working in, to make sure that they stand out! For an even more dramatic strip lash look effect, we recommend using using premade spikes that are up to 5mm longer than the fans!
